OAKLAND — Messalonskee High School recently announced its February Students of the Month. They are, from left senior Kathryn Myers, freshman Anya Fegel, junior Haley Carver, junior Brad Carver, junior Ashley Carver and sophomore Sarah VanDerKarr.
These students were chosen for their academic improvement, excellence and contribution to the Messalonskee school community. The students were nominated by MHS faculty members and chosen by the school’s Culture Committee and Leadership Team. The students’ pictures will be on display. In addition, they will receive preferential parking at the school as well as a variety of items donated by local businesses that support Messalonskee’s goal of honoring excellence in the school.
