WINTHROP — An ice fishing derby to benefit Winthrop Project Graduation will take place from 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, on the following lakes: Annabessacook, Berry, Cobbossee, Little Cobbossee, Maranacook and Narrows Pond.
Participants must weigh in at Norcross Point before 1 p.m.. The first-place winner will receive a set of five Jack traps; second place, a Jack Traps basket; third place, a $50 Visa card. In the event of a tie in weight, the length will determine winner.
Tickets are $10 to enter the derby and can be found at the following businesses prior to Feb 21: The Flaky Tart, Thomas Agency, Winthrop Area Credit Union, Full Court Deli, Baker’s Dozen, Cobbossee Bait
Raffles, food, and coffee will take place at Norcross Point from 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Door prizes will be drawn at 1 p.m. and ticket holders must be present to win.
