WINTHROP — The Team Thomas silent ticket auction is set for 1 p.m. Sunday, March 1, at Winthrop High School, 21 Rambler Road. The event, original scheduled for Feb. 15, was postponed because of inclement weather. Doors will open at 10 a.m., according to a news release from event organizers.
Proceeds will be used for expenses for Cathy White-Thomas and her family, according to her prayer site www.facebook.com/Prayersforcathythomas.
The auction will include items such as gift certificates, passes, services, merchandise and cash.
Tickets start at 25 cents each, $5 for 20 tickets, $10 for 45 tickets, $20 for 100 tickets, and $50 for 250 tickets.
A $1 table with prizes will be open, and food and drinks will be available for purchase.
