UNITY — Native plant and perennial herb expert and farmer Julie Beckford will give a talk on the multiple benefits of native plants at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at the MOFGA Annex, 294 Crosby Brook Road.

Bickford and her husband, Peter, of Rebel Hill Farm in Clifton, have raised certified organic, field-grown perennials for 25 years, according to a news release from Sheepscot Wellspring Land Alliance. She will elaborate on the relationships between the human-made landscape and the natural world.

The free event is co-sponsored by the Alliance and MOFGA.
