Bringing the National Discussion on Race to Waterville, a conversation about racial identity in Waterville and in the mid-Maine area, is set for 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, in Page Commons Room, Cotter Union, on the Colby College campus. This event, a collaboration between Thomas College and Colby College, will include the sharing of experiences and perspectives by students from many different heritages, brief comments from faculty and staff from the colleges, and small group discussions to think about where we stand and how we, as a community, can move forward, according to a news release from Colby College. Thomas President Laurie Lachance and Colby President David Greene will offer brief remarks and reflections.

Parking will be available in the Eustis Lot. For more information, contact Cindy Vassey at 859-4252 or cavassey@colby.edu.
