On March 20, Belgrade residents will vote to fill two vacancies on the Board of Selectpersons, which oversees all of the activities for the town throughout the year and sets its future direction. I am writing to express my unqualified support for Gary Mahler.

Gary has outstanding credentials. He is a member of the Town’s Budget Committee and Appeals Board, and is an active participant in a number of local and state organizations. He has been a substitute teacher for the Belgrade Central School and an Adult Ed instructor for various courses at SAD 47. I relied on Gary’s common-sense advice during my tenure as both a state representative and town manager.

Gary will use his experience, listening and communication skills, and compassion for others to represent our town. I urge you to vote for him.
