Howard Hill Lecture, 7 p.m. in Wayne
The Kennebec Land Trust’s March Lyceum lecture series is focused on the geology, history and ecology of Howard Hill, the forested backdrop to the State House. The Kennebec Land Trust and Augusta plan to have this statewide landmark conserved by October. The Howard Hill property will provide recreational, wildlife, water quality, scenic and forest-resource benefits. All indoor KLT programs are at Ladd Recreation Center. Local Fisheries Report, 7 p.m. in Scarborough
Francis Brautigam, a regional state fisheries biologist, will talk about local fisheries issues and report on the Crooked River Redd Survey for landlocked salmon completed last November. Winter Birding Talk, 7 p.m. in Wells
