TROY — Maine State police continue to probe the death of a Troy man discovered at his home more than a week ago.

Steven Hodgdon, 49, was found by Waldo County Sheriff’s Office deputies after they were called to his home on 188 Rutland Road about 2:30 a.m. on March 7.

On Monday, Department of Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland confirmed that the investigation is still open and active, but said there were no updates with the case.

An autopsy on Hodgdon was scheduled for Sunday, March 8, by the Maine State Medical Examiner, but the results have been withheld for the purposes of the investigation, McCausland said. Authorities have not said whether the death is considered suspicious.

According to police, Hodgdon lived at the house with his teenage son.
