WATERVILLE — Waterville Public Library will show a series of films at the library based on best selling books by J.K. Rowling. The films, Harry Potter movies 1 through 8, will be shown over the course of eight weeks. The eighth and final film will be shown on Saturday, May 2, as part of a party celebrating the 17th anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts.

• Film based on book 2, Friday, March 20, 4-6:45 p.m.
• Film based on book 3, Friday, March 27, 4-6:30 p.m.
• Film Based on book 4, Friday, April 3, 4-6:45 p.m.
• Film based on book 5, Friday, April 10, 4-6:30 p.m.
• Film based on book 6, Friday, April 17 4-6:30 p.m.
• Film based on the first half of book 7, Friday, April 24, 4-6:30 p.m.
• Battle of Hogwarts party, which includes a showing of the 8th film., Saturday, May 2, 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
These events are free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
