Sen. Michael Willette, R-Presque Isle has “apologized” for his slanderous, racist Facebook post, but not the content? Does this mean that it’s acceptable to hold those beliefs but not to publicize them?

Is this an individual that should hold elected office? No. The Senate should demand his resignation immediately if we are to respect the integrity of that body.
