Unity Barn Raisers will host a breakfast for dinner community meal from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at the Unity Community Center, 32 School St., in Unity.

Sliding scale donations are $7 to $15 per person. Like all of their community meals, the bulk of the ingredients are sourced from local farmers, growers, and producers, according to a news release from Unity Barn Raisers. This meal is sponsored by Unity Food Hub and Crosstrax Neighborhood Deli.

Volunteers are needed to help with meal preparation and clean-up. Volunteers eat for free. Those interested in volunteering can call Mary Leaming, UBR Programs director, at 948-9005 or email programs@unitybarnraisers.org.

Unity Barn Raisers works pro-actively to enhance small-town character and rural environment, while nurturing a thriving community-based economy. UBR, which is guided by 10 “Underlying Principles,” believes that a community working together can shape its own future, and in so doing, significantly advance the quality of life of its people, both now and for generations to come.
