PORTLAND — The No. 5 Colby women’s lacrosse team continued its strong start to the season with an 18-3 victory over the University of Southern Maine in a non-conference game Tuesday.

Sasha Fritts, Dana Swaffield and Abby Hatch each had four points for Colby. Fritts scored four goals while Swaffield finished with three goals and one assist. Hatch had one goal and three assists. Hatch leads the Mules in scoring with eight goals and 11 assists for 19 points.

Abby Hooper finished with two goals and one assist for the Mules.

Anh Nguyen scored all three goals for the Huskies (0-5 overall).
