As a state lawmaker, Sen. Michael Willette, R-Presque Isle, is in the position to negatively influence many groups of people: his constituents, his colleagues and his Facebook friends, but the group that bothers us the most are his former students. He has spread poison to his students, with his attitude and lack of respect for various ethnic groups, immigrants and our president.

We strongly believe that he owes the residents of Maine his resignation from the Legislature.
