fundraiser planned

BELGRADE — A Longaberger pottery and basket Bingo fundraiser, sponsored by Friends of the Belgrade Public Library and Belgrade Fire & Rescue Association, will be held Friday, March 27, at Belgrade Central School. Doors will open at 5 p.m. Sandwiches, snacks and beverage will be available to purchase, according to a news release from the Friends group.

Raffle tickets for two large baskets will be on sale from 5 to 6 p.m., with drawings set for 6 p.m.

The Bingo games will begin at 6:30 p.m. A combination of pottery and baskets will be filled with theme-oriented items.

Tickets cost $20 for 20 games. For more information or tickets, call 446-0989 or 242-9408. Children younger than 16 will not be admitted, and outside food can not be brought into this event.
