This letter is in response to the March 6 article about Justin Rolfe, “Fairfield resident turns life around through boxing.”
While rediscovering himself as a boxer, Rolfe really has turned his life for the better. This young man is proof that given a chance and, perhaps more importantly, coming to grips with some unwise decisions, a life can change for the better. Rolfe has proven a lot to himself and to me, although I may never meet him. I’m proud of him and equally happy for him.
Not only is it refreshing to see young people succeed in their choices, it’s more than generous for the newspaper to devote the time and effort to keep us informed.
