Our government is owned and operated, not by the people it allegedly represents, but by corporations. These same corporations both receive government contracts and contribute millions to help re-elect the same legislators who award the contracts.

A corrupt government that benefits only the elite leads to unchecked wars accompanied by cuts to spending on real needs such as public education and care for veterans.

Federal contractors should be required to disclose their political spending. Corporations such as Lockheed Martin, Verizon and Koch Industries are flush with taxpayer money they receive from federal contracts. We deserve to know the truth.
