PORTLAND — Whitney Henry and Jason Pierce were married Sept. 13, 2014, at the Maine Teen Camp in Porter.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Tedda Henry, of Augusta. The bridegroom is the son of Sharon Pierce, of Wakefield, N.H., and the late David Smith.

Laura Lapierre was matron of honor. Valerie Lessard was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarena Richardson and Bryanna Chute.

Best men were Darin Gray and Josh Oliveira. Groomsmen were Josh Lapierre, Steve Silcocks (officiant), Jared Chute and Travis Jordan. Ushers were Justin Pierce, Joel Pierce, Mitch Henry and Noah Boucher.

A reception followed the lakeside ceremony at the Maine Teen Camp.

Whitney is a graduate of Husson University, where she received a bachelor of science degree in psychology, and a graduate of the University of Southern Maine, where she received a master of science degree in clinical mental health counseling. She is employed as a substance abuse counselor by Day One in South Portland.

Jason is a graduate of Husson College, where he received bachelor of science degrees in biology and kinesiology. He is employed as a sales representative by Humana in Portsmouth, N.H.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Jamacia, and live in Portland.
