William Bucci, of West Gardiner, from Troop 613 received scoutings highest rank as Eagle Scout.

Bucci’s project was designing, gathering donations for, and coordinating the construction of a weather shelter on the Nature Trail in West Gardiner.

The structure was 8-foot by 16-foot and provides shelter from the weather for campers and hikers.

Labor and materials were donated from local businesses.
