“Cathy’s Talk-Song,” a Maine documentary that captures the autistic world of Cathy, for whom music expresses the inexpressible, now is available.

The film shows the trials and loving perserverence of her mother, Darla Chafin, of Augusta, as she shares the complex life of her daughter. Observe how music enters Cathy’s world and makes a difference, according to a news release by Chafin.

This documentary, sensitively crafted by Liesel deBoor, MFA, is available to public organizations for viewing and discussion, co-led by Chafin and Ellen Bowman, therapist.
