A Survivors of Suicide Loss Grief Support Group is set for 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday evenings, begin May 21, at the Alfond Center for Health, room B3500.
This group is offered for family and friends of someone who died by suicide. The group will provide a safe space to explore feelings of grief and loss in a supportive peer setting, according to a news release for MaineGeneral Hospice Volunteers of Kennebec Valley.
Information specific to loss and grief resulting from suicide will be provided.
Space is limited, registration is required. To register, call Bereavement Coordinator Tamara Cooper at 626-1780.
