The University of Maine at Augusta’s Danforth Gallery will host an opening reception from 4 to 5 p.m. Friday to showcase the artwork of graduating seniors.

Seven art students will display projects in a variety of art forms including photography, painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, electronic arts and other mixed media.

The students are Nathanial Chadwick, of Hallowell; Arielle Cousens, of Augusta; Sierra Meservey, of Rockland; Doreen Morgan, of Augusta; Roland Perkins, of Cornville; Kerri Roberge, of Jay; and Roderick Small, of Jay.

The artwork will also be on display from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday.

The gallery is at Jewett Hall on the UMA campus and is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays. The reception and exhibition are free and open to the public.
