WINSLOW — Hannah Doble pitched a complete game, striking out eight and allowing just five hits, as the Winslow softball team sank Leavitt 6-2 on Friday afternoon. Doble improved to 3-0 this season. Hillary Libby had a home run and two RBIs for Winslow (5-2), while Jenna Petrovic and Hayley Pottle each had a single, double and drove in a run.

Morgan Knowlton had a triple and two RBIs for Leavitt (5-2).

OXFORD HILLS 3, MESSALONSKEE 2: The Vikings scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning to steal the win in Oakland.

In the seventh, Hannah Kenney doubled in a run, moved to third on a groundout, and scored the go-ahead run on a passed ball. Messalonskee (5-2) threatened in the bottom of the seventh. With a runner on, Kristy Prelgovisk hit a deep drive that got held up by the wind and was caught a few feet from the fence.

Cody Akers, Annika Kahkonen and Anna Winslow each had two singles for Oxford Hills (7-1). Prelgovisk and MollyAn Killingbeck each singled twice for Messalonskee.

LISBON 9, MADISON 7: The Greyhounds used 15 hits to out-slug the Bulldogs in a Mountain Valley Conference game in Madison.

Arianna Kahler and Kipri Steele each had three hits for Lisbon (5-2). Molly Nicholson, Monica Austin and Taylor Plourde each added two hits.

For Madison (6-1), Aly LeBlanc, Erin Whalen and Ashley Emery each had two hits. LeBlanc doubled and tripled, while Kayla Bess hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning. Madison had the tying run at the plate in the bottom of the seventh when the game ended on a line-drive double play.

BREWER 10, LAWRENCE 5: Delaney Davis clubbed a pair of doubles as the Witches held off the Bulldogs.

Brewer improved to 4-4, while Lawrence fell to 2-6.

ERSKINE 7, CAMDEN HILLS 1: Mallory Chamberlain had two singles and a double to lead the Eagles to a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B win over the Windjammers in South China.

Chamberlain also picked up the win in the circle for Erskine (5-2). Amber Grady added two singles.

Camden Hills dropped to 1-6.

CARRABEC 11, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 4: Liberty Chestnut was a home run shy of the cycle and finished with six RBIs as the Cobras rolled to the MVC win in Rumford. Chestnut singled, doubled and tripled.

Bailey Dunphy had three singles and two RBIs for Carrabec (4-3) . Lexie Cowan had two singles and two RBIs as well.

Mountain Valley dropped to 2-4.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 19, MCI 7: Emily Keene clubbed a double and picked up the win in the circle as the Phoenix cruised in Pittsfield.

Megan Duval and Patti Ryan also doubled for Spruce Mountain (2-5).

Kali Doiron and Miranda Kuespert each had doubles for MCI (0-7).

LINCOLN 11, MOUNT VIEW 2: The Eagles took advantage of six Mustang errors to remain undefeated with their win over Mount View (2-5).

Abigail Farrin picked up the victory in the circle for Lincoln (7-0).

Kersey Bouley finished with a double and a triple for the Mustangs, while Dina Bilodeau had a single and a double.

BASEBALL

OXFORD HILLS 1, MESSALONSKEE 0: The Vikings scored the game’s lone run in the top of the seventh to hand the Eagles their first loss of the season.

Bailey West tossed six shutout innings for Oxford Hills (7-1) before giving way to Will Frank, who pitched a scoreless seventh to get the save.

Ben Frazee allowed just a single hit before giving way to Connor Garland in the fifth for Messalonskee (6-1), while Trevor Gettig had a single and a double.

WINSLOW 14, LEAVITT 3: Bobby Chenard and Dylan Hapworth each drove in four runs to lead the Raiders in Winslow.

Chenard finished with a double while Hapworth had a triple. Ben Smith also had two hits for the Raiders (6-1).

Leavitt dropped to 2-5.

BREWER 5, LAWRENCE 1: Alex Brooks doubled and drove in two runs to lead the Witches in a KVAC A game in Fairfield.

Matt Pushard struck out seven and walked just one to earn the victory for Brewer (5-2).

Derek Bowen went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Lawrence (2-6). Losing pitcher Cody Martin struck out 10.

LISBON 11, MADISON 0: Kyle Bourget went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and Nick Lerette drove in a run to lead the Greyhounds to the MVC win in Madison.

Winning pitcher R.J. Sargent pitched three scoreless innings. Bourget followed with two scoreless innings for the Greyhounds (6-1).

Madison dropped to 3-4.

NOKOMIS 21, MARANACOOK 8: A 10-run fourth inning propelled Nokomis over Maranacook in a KVAC slugfest.

Joshua Perry and Brad Allen led Nokomis 19-hit attack with three hits apiece. Noah Kershner added two hits, including the only extra base hit for the Warriors (2-5), a double. Cam Brochu homered and doubled and Nick Bowie and Kent Mohlar had two doubles apiece for the Black Bears (4-3).

ERSKINE 6, CAMDEN HILLS 0: Ryan Rodrigue tossed a two-hit shutout as Erskine handed Camden Hills its first loss of the season.

Rodrigue struck out seven, walked two and also helped his own cause with two hits, including a double. Caleb Barden’s ground-rule double sparked a three-run third for the Eagles (3-4). Zack Isbell and Tyler Bailey added two hits apiece for Erskine.

BOYS LACROSSE

MESSALONSKEE 11, DEERING 5: Alden Balboni had three goals to lead the Eagles to the Class A win in Oakland.

Dylan Burton, Austin Pelletier, Conner Smith and Dylan Jones each scored two goals apiece for Messalonskee (4-2). Burton also had three assists while Pelletier had two. Elija Tuell made 14 saves.

Andrew Johnson scored twice for Deering (1-4) while Bryce Randall, Sambath Sao and Nate Richards also scored. Conner Ray made 12 saves.
