We bought our home in Readfield in 1988 because of the good schools and the welcoming community. In the upcoming June 9 town election, I strongly support Bruce Bourgoine and Christine Sammons for Select Board. These candidates have the longest connections to our town, and I believe together they will help heal the rancor and restore functional town leadership.
As a former chairman of the CSD 10 School Committee, I also urge residents of Readfield, Manchester, Mount Vernon and Wayne to approve the proposed budget at the RSU 38 annual meeting on Wednesday, and the subsequent validation votes by towns.
Help keep our schools strong and the Readfield community vibrant.
