FREEPORT — Freeport rescue workers transported two children to Maine Medical Center with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries following an ATV crash Friday morning.
The driver of the ATV is a teenager and the passenger is 2 years old, authorities said.
The ATV had been driving on Miles Way, a dirt road serving a couple of houses, when it crashed into a utility junction box at about 10 a.m.
The Maine Warden Service also responded to the scene.
