The members of American Legion, William R. Bold 181 and the Ladies Auxiliary will conduct Memorial Day activities on Monday, May 25.
The parade will begin at 9 a.m. at Central Fire Station and will proceed to the monument area of the Litchfield Plains Cemetery. The parade will be followed by memorial and recognition activities. The program should be completed by 10:15 a.m., according to a news release from the Legion.
Nunzio Biondello will be the main speaker.
In case of inclement weather, the activities, minus the parade, will take place at the Carrie Ricker School gymnasium.
