SAINT ANSELM COLLEGE

MANCHESTER, N.J. — Saint Anselm College student Nicole Rugan, of Chelsea, a junior biology major, was inducted April 21 into the college’s Chi Zeta Chapter of Beta Beta Beta National Biological Honors Society. She was one of 23 Saint Anselm College students inducted in a ceremony in Perini lecture hall, according to a news release from the college.

Beta Beta Beta requires that candidates for induction be junioß∑ hjurs or seniors with an overall GPA of 3.0 or above.

Beta Beta is an honor society for undergraduates who are dedicated to improving their understanding of biology and biological research, accordiß∑ng to the release. The national society was founded in 1922 and the Chi Zeta chapter at Saint Anselm College was established in 1996. Each year the Chi Zeta chapter holds an induction ceremony for new members.
