AUGUSTA — Cony High School recently announced its delegates and alternates for Boys/Girls State for 2015.

Girls State

Anna Brannigan is the daughter of Susan and Michael Brannigan, of Chelsea. Brannigan is a member of soccer, lacrosse, swimming, National Honors Society, Chizzle Wizzle, dance and chorus. She volunteered at Cohen Center, multiple sclerosis walks, and the March of Dimes. Brannigan plans on attending a four-year college where she can further her education in the medical field.

Selena Garside is the daughter of Bo and Lori Garside, of Augusta. Selena is a member of volleyball, lacrosse, student council, and Seeds of Peace. Selena enjoys helping out at the Cony International Dinners, United Volunteers of Maine, and the middle school athletics. Her future plans are to attend college after High School.

Alexis Libby is the daughter of Betty Jo and Jeff Libby, of Augusta. Alexis is a member of National Honor Society, Chizzle Wizzle, dance and student council. Alexis enjoys dedicating her time to Big Brothers Big Sisters. Her future plans are to attend college after High School.

Brooke Pietri is the daughter of Joseph Pietri and Tarsha Davis, of Augusta. Brooke is a member of dance, Spanish club, Madrigals, and Seeds of Peace. Brooke enjoys dedicating her time at the Dance Unlimited Studio and the Soup Kitchen. Brooke’s goal is to major in child psychology while attending a four-year college.

Abigail Silsby is the daughter of Andrew and Kim Silsby, of Augusta. Abigail is a member of lacrosse, field hockey, swimming, Chizzle Wizzle, student council, math team, and Spanish club. She volunteers at Lincoln school and works with first graders. She also spends many hours in the summer teaching lacrosse and field hockey to younger kids in the community. Abigail plans on attending a four-year college, where she can further her education.

Ciara Tenney is the daughter of Margaret and Robert Tenney, of Augusta. Tenney enjoys participating in National Honor Society, outing club, field hockey and Latin club. Tenney also dedicates time at the Cohen Center, Trek Across Maine, and Teens to Trails. Her future aspirations are to join the Air Force and ROTC.

Lindsay Watts is the daughter of Cindy Cannell and Walter Watts, of Augusta. Watts enjoys participating in field hockey, track & field, math team, Chizzle Wizzle, student council, Spanish club and National Honor Society. Watts also dedicates time at the Cohen Center, Pet Food Pantry, field hockey camps and summer track and field. Her future aspirations are to attend college and obtain a degree in either genetic engineering or biotechnology and genetics

Boys State

Noah Aube is the son of Tony and Julie Aube, of Augusta. Noah is a member of the swim team, track team, cross-country team, National Honor Society, French Club, German Club and Key Club. He volunteers with the Friends of the Cobbossee Watershed and Augusta Trails. Noah plans to attend college to further his education.

Joel Bennett is the son of John and Janet Bennett, of Chelsea. Bennett is a member of Football, Lacrosse and the math team. He volunteers with youth football and at his local snowmobiling club. Bennett plans to attend college to obtain his engineering degree.

Timothy Cusick is the son of Peter and Shelly Couture and Tim and Thelma Cusick, of Augusta. Cusick enjoys playing basketball and golf. Cusick also dedicates time at youth basketball games, and helps assist with functions through the Maine Cancer Foundation. His future aspirations are to attend college and continue playing basketball.

Timietheus Edwards is the son of Sherrie Kelley and Timothy Edwards, of Augusta. Edwards is an active participant on the track and field and football team. He is a member of the Madrigals and Jazz Band. Edwards also enjoys spending his time grooming and jogging racing horses. Edwards plans on attending college to become either a physical therapist or chiropractor.

Patrick Green is the son of Kelly Green, of Augusta. Green enjoys being involved in Jazz Band, Pep Band, Spanish Club, Chizzle Wizzle, and District-3 Honors Festival. Green also dedicates his time to helping middle school students. His future aspirations are to attend college and become a Band Director. He would love to become employed as an educator and teach at the high school level.

Andrew Keithley is the son of Jason and Julie Keithley, of Chelsea. Andrew enjoys participating in hockey, lacrosse and Chizzle Wizzle. Andrew also dedicates time at the Alfie Michaud Clinic and at the Senior Center. His future aspirations are to attend college and get a degree in business.

Andrew Levesque is the son of Marc and Kate Levesque, of Augusta. Levesque enjoys being involved in cross country, indoor track and field, math team, outing club, class council, and is a National Honor Society member. Levesque also dedicates his time at the Cohen Center, Middle School Track and Cross Country meets, along with NHS events. His future aspirations are to attend college in the Northwest and obtain a degree in either biomedical or chemical engineering.

Connor Perry is the son of Marc and Kristen Perry, of Chelsea. Perry enjoys being a member of soccer, hockey, baseball, Chizzle Wizzle, student council and Spanish club. Perry also dedicates his time at the CARA complex. His future aspirations are to attend college and play soccer.

Justin Rodrigue is the son of Timothy and Vicki Rodrigue, of Augusta. Justin enjoys being an avid member of Cony golf, baseball and basketball teams. Justin also dedicates his time at the Augusta Elks Lodge. Justin plans on attending a four-year college to obtain a degree in engineering and would like to continue playing basketball.
