Mr. and Mrs. Hays G. Bowne Jr. of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Audrey Hays Bowne, to Dr. C. Michael Collins Jr., son of Dr. and Mrs. C. Michael Collins, of Florence, South Carolina.
Bowne, of Charleston, South Carolina, is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin M. Littlefield, of Hartland, and the late Dr. and Mrs. Hays G. Bowne, formerly of Farmington. Collins is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Winfred Collins, of Mullins, South Carolina, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Ray Perritt, formerly of Marion, South Carolina.
Bowne received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Medical University of South Carolina, and is a graduate student in the nurse anesthesia program at MUSC.
Collins is a graduate of the College of Medicine at Medical University of South Carolina. He is employed as a hospitalist by Trident Medical Center in North Charleston, South Carolina.
An Aug. 15, 2015, wedding is planned in Newland, North Carolina.
