Judith J. Lane of Winthrop, along with James and Jeanette Lane, of Parkman, and Wilfred Hawes, of Sidney, have announced the engagement of their children, Jacquelynn Marie Lane and Jason Wilfred Hawes, of Sidney. Hawes also is the son of the late Tina Hawes.
Lane, formerly of Benton, is a 1999 graduate of Lawrence High School. She attended the University of Southern Maine, and is now employed by Orthopedic Physical Therapy of Waterville.
Hawes, formerly of Farmingdale, is a 2000 graduate of Hall-Dale High School. He attended Kennebec Valley Community College, and is now employed by Central Maine Power Co., as a lineman.
They live in Sidney.
A Sept. 12, 2015, wedding is planned in Winslow.
