The road workers at the corner of Elm and Silver Streets in Waterville deserve special mention. They went above and beyond in courtesy on the afternoon of May 29.
They enabled me to safely cross the street and moved their heavy equipment to let my bike pass on the sidewalk rather than ride over a lawn or in the road. The kindness was unexpected and much appreciated.
