Maine’s spring turkey hunt is wrapping up for 2015.
The hunt ends Saturday throughout the state. Hunters are allowed to take only bearded wild turkeys during the spring hunt.
Hunters in 22 wildlife management districts around the state can harvest up to two turkeys. Turkey hunters are limited to only one bird in seven wildlife management districts in the far northern and western parts of the state. Those hunters can take a second turkey from elsewhere in the state.
There is also a fall turkey hunt that begins on Oct. 1.
