WATERVILLE — Money Smart for Older Adults — Preventing Financial Exploitation Workshop is set for 10:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, at Waterville Public Library.
The class can raise awareness about the following: the types of elder financial exploitation; telephone scams; identity theft and medical identity theft; planning for unexpected life events; how to be financially prepared for disasters, and more. The event is facilitated by Darlene Hawkes, financial services manager, People’s United Bank, Waterville.
