Air Force Airman 1st Class Lynisa M. Aubin graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills, according to a news release from Joint Hometown News Service. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Aubin is the daughter of Richard M. Grant, of Monmouth, and Mary Jane R. Aubin of Leland, North Carolina.
The airman graduated in 2010 from North Brunswick High School, Leland.
