Work clothes retailer Carhartt will open its first company-owned store in Maine on Friday at The Maine Mall, the company said.
The Michigan-based company, which sells durable clothes, footwear and accessories, has leased a 3,500-square-foot space inside the mall in South Portland, it said.
It will be the brand’s 18th company-owned retail store alongside locations in Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
Carhartt’s Maine Mall store will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, the company said.
