WATERVILLE — Central Maine mystery writers Maureen Milliken and Gerry Boyle will sign their recently released books from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at The Children’s Book Cellar, 52 Main St.
Milliken’s “Cold Hard News” was released June 6 by S&H Publishing. It’s the first in the Bernie O’Dea mystery series, according to a news release from the store.
Boyle’s “Once Burned” was released in May by Islandport Press. It’s the 10th installation of the Jack McMorrow mystery series.
Both mystery novels are set in central Maine and have journalist protagonists, something both Milliken and Boyle know well. Both central Maine residents, Milliken is news editor of the Kennebec Journal and Morning Sentinel. Boyle is a former Morning Sentinel columnist and editor.
