WATERVILLE — Colby College Museum of Art, 5600 Mayflower Hill Drive, will host PechaKucha Night Waterville at 5 p.m. Thursday, July 9. The quarterly event series that has brought thousands of area residents together in celebration of passions and creativity. Scheduled on the eve of the Maine International Film Festival 2015’s opening night, PK Waterville volume 17 will feature a wide diversity of topics including film.

The creative networking event is centered on storytelling in 20×20 (20 slides showing for 20 seconds each).

Listed in alphabetical order, the presenters for volume 17 of PechaKucha Night Waterville are: Rosie Curtis, Maggie Ellis, Mike Kaplan, Jennifer Olsen, Bruce Olson, Lisa Pohlmann, Nick Runco and Grace Von Tobel. Waterville Creates! Executive Director Nate Rudy will serve as emcee for the event.

Presentations will begin at 7:20 p.m. in Given Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.

PechaKucha Night Waterville is made possible by a volunteer Team PK, Waterville Creates!, and the Waterville Public Library.
