HALLOWELL — The Harlow Aviary, featuring work depicting or inspired by birds, will be on view at the Harlow Gallery, 160 Water St. will be on view July 3-25 with an opening reception set for 5-8 p.m. Friday, July 3. The opening of the Sculpture Garden at Vaughan Homestead, 2 Litchfield Road, will take place at the same day and times. The gallery will be closed for the Fourth of July.

Through July, the Harlow Gallery will feature a varied selection of work by Maine artists: painting, drawing, printmaking, fiberarts, photography, sculpture, fine craft and more. Exhibitions are always free and open to the public. Gallery hours are noon -6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
