Judy Pancoast will kickoff Oakland Public Library’s Summer Reading Program for 2015 at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 9 at 18 Church St., Oakland.
Pancoast, a singer, songwriter and recording artist who was the 2011 Grammy Award nominee for Best Children’s Album, crafts clever songs with infectious melodies that delight the young and the young at heart, according to a news release from the library.
