WATERVILLE — A city man who was arrested recently after allegedly threatening to kill his neighbor was arrested again on Tuesday on a domestic violence assault charge.

Rodney Turner, 47, allegedly assaulted his girlfriend Monday night on College Avenue, according to Sgt. Brian Gardiner, of the Waterville Police Department. The woman was taken to the hospital but did not have serious injuries, he said.

Turner also is facing charges of terrorizing and violation of protection from abuse for allegedly threatening to kill his neighbor after the neighbor called police last month to complain about Turner’s dog.

He was out on bail on the violation of protection order charge when he was arrested Tuesday shortly after midnight, Gardiner said. Turner was taken to the Kennebec County jail on Tuesday.
