Once again, our governor has slipped away from reality to wishful thinking. In his recent news conference, quoted on the radio on June 25, Gov. Paul LePage said, “100 percent of Mainers, well, almost 100 percent support” him.

It must be that math was not his strong suit, as I believe 52 percent of the votes cast for governor in the last election were from Mainers who did not want LePage returned to office. That is not three-quarters, or two-thirds, or even half of Maine’s voters.
