The Pittston Literary & Historical Society is collecting pictures and information pertaining to the East Pittston area and its surrounding neighborhoods for its display at the Pittston Fair.

The society plans to display a map and photos of homes, stores, and other public buildings dating from late 1800’s to mid 1900’s. Some photos have already been located, but more are needed.

The society makes high quality copies and returns originals, unless the owner wishes to donate theirs. Those who have photos to share should contact Louise Kruk at 582-7560 or Dan Warren Jr. at 458-7179.
