July 8, a 2006 Jeep Liberty being driven south on Augusta Road by a 52-year-old Waldoboro woman hit a deer.

Friday there was a report of a damaged mailbox. The woman said it was the third time her mailbox has been targeted.

Saturday, a 47-year-old Jefferson man was charged with operating after suspension during a traffic stop on North Mountain Road.

An 18-year-old South Bristol man was charged with minor possessing alcohol on Rockland Road.

SOMERVILLE

July 6, a 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier being driven on Rockland Road by a 29-year-old Augusta woman hit the side of a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu being driven by a 19-year-old Benton woman. The Cavalier was pulled to the right side of the road and attempted to turn in the highway.

Tuesday, there was a report of a Confederate flag stolen from a home. The flag has a value of about $10.

JEFFERSON

July 4, Ryan G. Ward, 31, of Brunswick, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault on State Park Road.

WHITEFIELD

July 3, Lance D. Willis, 35, of Whitefield, was arrested on Mills Road on a warrant charging failure to appear.

Kimber T. Niles, 61, of Whitefield, was arrested on North Hunts Meadow Road on a charge of violating conditions of release. Niles was arrested again July 8 on the same charge.

Friday, Edward C. Arbour, 36, of Whitefield, was arrested on Howe Road on a charge of violating conditions of release.
