Free parenting classes set to begin July 28
KVCAP’s Family Enrichment Council will sponsor a free parenting class 1,2,3,4 Parents! New information on parenting and child behavior will be shared with parents and care providers of children 1 to 4 years old. In this series of three, one-and-a-half-hour classes, participants can learn discipline methods that work, how to prevent tantrums, establish routines to make life easier, and more. The class consists of video vignettes, discussion, and activities.
Classes, presented by Emily Buckhalter, are set for 10-11:30 a.m. Tuesdays, July 28, Aug. 4 and 11, at KVCAP’s Shirley Damren Room, 97 Water St., Waterville; and 2:30-4 p.m. Tuesdays, July 28, Aug. 4 and 11, at Buker Community Center, 22 Armory Road, Augusta.
