HEBRON — It’s time for rednecks to bring on their “A-game” in Maine.
The event — formerly known as the Redneck Olympics – kicks off Thursday in the town of Hebron. Organizers now call it the “Redneck (Blank)” after the real Olympics threatened legal action.
It’s hard to confuse the two.
The event, which starts Thursday, features music, pig roast and unorthodox competitions including greased watermelon haul, toilet seat horse shoes, bobbing for pigs feet, a wife haul and tug-a-war in a mud pit.
