It is difficult to even respond to the newspaper story of “50 Years in Prison,” published on the front page on July 25. It is beneath this newspaper’s usual standard of good reporting to dignify the printing of this heinous crime.
Justice Donald Marden is to be praised for his judgment in handing down the 50-year sentence. But in my opinion no amount of “help” could turn around this poor excuse of a human being.
After way too many stories about this case, hopefully we have seen and heard the last of this gruesome tale.
