The great Ronald Reagan once stated, “I didn’t leave the Democratic Party, the party left me.” I also voted the Democrat Party line for many years until I came to my senses.
I also believed the Democratic Party left me as it continued to move further and further left.
I’m glad to know that the head of the Democrat Party, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, confirmed my decision when Chris Matthews, the host of “Hardball,” asked her what the difference is between today’s Democratic Party and socialism. She couldn’t provide a answer
This isn’t the same Democratic Party generations of hard-working American blue-collar workers used to vote for.
I’m one American not yet quite ready to throw in the towel and call myself a socialist even though I believe we’ve already long ago crossed that line and have begun to turn our Republic into the Socialist United States of America.
