WILTON — Police are investigating the possible theft of a pickup truck from a Temple Road residence, the fourth such theft in the past week.

Police believe the 2000 Chevy Silvarado was taken from outside the residence sometime between 9 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. Monday. The green truck has rust patches on the running boards and both wheel wells. Police believe the keys were in the truck when it was taken.

The case is the fourth believed instance of motor vehicle theft in the town since Aug. 1. The police reportedly recovered two of the three vehicles stolen last week.
