I looked at my partner during the Maryland State Boychoir at the Readfield United Methodist Church, and she was crying. I knew she would be.
The tears stemmed from the hope exhibited by the black and white young boys and teens of the Maryland State Boychoir, as their voices and faces spoke of the potential for racial harmony in an often fractious United States.
Thanks to the church for bringing the choir and giving central Mainers a hint of what could be a reality throughout the nation.
