FARMINGTON — The annual 4-H Open Air Market is returning to the Friday Sandy River Farmers’ Market on Front Street this year. On Friday, Aug. 21, 4-H members will set up tables along with local farmers to sell produce and other items they have grown or made themselves.
Shoppers can expect to find vegetables, fruit, baked goods, art work, jewelry and many other items developed from 4-H’ers imaginations, according to a news release from organizers. All items sold will have been made or produced by the 4-H members themselves. This is a fun experience for the members, an opportunity to try out entrepreneur skills and a chance for them to earn some money from their own efforts.
The 4-H Open Air Market will be open for business from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
