A family-friendly paddle on Branch Pond in Palermo will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30. Hosts Gerry Saunders with Sebasticook Regional Land Trust and Bernice Nadler with Sheepscot Wellspring Land Alliance will lead the free exploration of the lake’s islands, nooks and crannies. The event will end by 5 p.m.
The launch site is accessed from Branch Mills Road in Palermo, next to the Grange. Participants should not park next to the old mill across the road from Branch Pond Flowers.
